Elements of Funk is a Michigan based band that takes songs from many genres and blends them into a mix that tickles the eardrums and makes you want to get up and dance. No matter the setting, we pride ourselves on professionalism creating an exhilarating experience for all ages. Eric's smooth vocals and charisma make him an electrifying frontman. Pat is a young energetic musician with a knack for tickling the ivories. Matt rounds out the group with his funk-inspired rhythms on the drums.

Scott Tuttle Quartet
The Scott Tuttle Quartet was formed by clarinetist Scott Tuttle in hopes to create the sounds of old traditional jazz groups such as Benny Goodman, Miles Davis, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. The Scott Tuttle Quartet plays a wide variety of jazz styles including swing, blues, ballads and Latin. The Scott Tuttle Quartet has performed at the Temple Theater with the Saginaw Choral Society, Dow Event Center, Midland Center for the Arts, Jazz Café in Detroit and Bakers Keyboard Lounge also in Detroit.
Scott Tuttle is a music education major at Saginaw Valley State University. While attending, he has performed with the concert, marching and jazz bands. In 2004, Scott performed with the National Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall. The bassist for "The Scott Tuttle Quartet" is Eric Markley. Eric has been playing the bass for about 20 years. During those years, he has played jazz, rock, progressive rock and fusion. Eric holds a bachelor or Arts in Music Performance degree on double bass from Saginaw Valley State University. Dave Reed has been playing drums in jazz bands and dance groups for the past 40 years. Dave is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has taught middle and high school bands in Birch Run for 31 years. Mike Gray has been playing piano/keyboard for about 20 years. He has played in various groups ranging from rock to jazz. Mike is studying music at Saginaw Valley State University where he has performed with the Jazz band under the direction of artist-in-residence Jeff Hall.
